Aki is a man with vision. Adding to his two eyes, this man has also ideas and is willing to produce them forward in several ways.
Tero met and got to know Aki in the college around the classroom of music. Fellows planned to do some kind of cooperation in the future.
In the end of the year 2004 Aki was invited to perform the role of Archie in the XIII-album. Recording sessions went well both sides.
Aki does not want to raise up his status in the group to the equal level with the original trio. He considers himself as a highly regular sessionman just filling up. In the other hand there are no replacers for Aki, so he is mostly filling up his own place.
In the PälkäneProge-event Aki told about his role in Nurkostam:
”But yes indeed - what we have here is a true progressive group. Even though I am a vocalist, in this group many of my parts are mostly speech oriented. Well, I may not have conviced the main trio with my efforts to compose more vocalparts for me. Let us see.”
